Sooooo
I searched Corbin.
This was most relative but I guess it’s not too different than just starting a thread…
But Corbin Seats: worth it? Like night and day? Or nothing special
Your park avenue leads to..
I'd say depends on what your comparing to, I put a Corbin on my 07 690SM, but that basically had an MX seat / piece of foam, so the Corbin was night & day, went from 1.5 hour ride being tolerable to a 3-5 hour day borderline comfortable...So it was absolutely worth it in that case, they don't make one for my 690 Duke, but i'm thinking about having a custom one made from the stock seat...
I’ve had a couple bikes with Corbin seats, and a couple bikes with Sargent seats. All either came with the bikes, or I bought secondhand at a discounted price.
Corbin seats tend to be very firm, firmness leads them to be more supportive for longer rides. Sargent seats are a little softer. They are both noticeably wider than stock seats. Corbin seats are very heavy, since they use their own seat pans, so if you’re the type to trim excess weight off your bike, you won’t be happy.
In general, you’d be hard-pressed to find someone that regretted their purchase of an aftermarket seat.
On my FZ6, I had a custom seat built (it was part of a group buy, so it was discounted)
