seems like a lot of fluff for the price. super clean power for tire warmers and a microwave

I guess for the quiet factor this MIGHT be worth it

    Re: Yamaha EF3000iSE generator $1300

    amps * voltage = watts

    1.5 * 120 = 180 watts per battery tender

    5 * 120 = 600 watts per tire warmer * 2 per bike = 1200 watts

    8 * 120 = 960 watts per air compressor

    14 * 120 = 1680 watts per a/c unit

    11 * 120 = 1320 watts per microwave oven

these are some approximate numbers to consider when choosing a generator

basically you'd be able to have two bikes with tire warmers and two battery tenders or a radio or something else small. if you wanted some other appliance to run you'd have to unplug your tire warmers to start the air compressor etc ...... etc ......

I knowwww i lost power for 7 days last ice storm.

    Re: Yamaha EF3000iSE generator $1300

This is a great price for a quiet, efficient, 3K generator. My Honda 2K was about $1000 new. If you're using it at the track, quiet is good. Quiet is really good.

Easily 2 sets of warmers and your small stuff in the pits.
