What I find intriguing is that there were apparently multiple NESR groups road roadblocked in VT

i bet it was in 2000 or 2001

its really funny i drove by camp mede last week and had to turn around just to take a pic of the sign.
it wasn't '00 that was the first year I really went on group rides, it was '01 when the small group of regulars that I rode with did a lot of rides, I always rode sweep, I do remember Captain Roadkill cause he didn't have his license on him, was on the "Degsy mighta been there" ride, myself, Frankenstein, Stoneman, maybe 1 other rider, or 2, if Degs was there ;-) in fact, the other rider I am forgetting may have been Craig

Actually drove by there a few weeks ago, it's been turned into a bakery, but it still carries the sign funny enough.

Cra1g was on a red r1 back then, chuck on the 748 duck, bill on a 996, alberto on his rc51 and i was on a green zx9

we rode together pretty much every week.

hooky rides, mm rides, weekends in vt and my sssl (secret south shore loop)

i kinda remember Cra1g getting a duck just before he moved away.

before he moved we had a going away party at alberto's house.

Eh. Lot of cars are capable of handling that now. I've been at 145 going into the bus stop at the Glen in an E46 M3 and that's 15 years old at this point. Any modern M car has the suspension and brakes to handle 160. Modern drivers on the other hand.........not so much.

I once went "oil" mph in a '68 VW Beetle, the hill was steep, and the wind was going in the right direction

All this talk of NESR group rides reminds me of the first one I went on on my TL, lead by Ray Ray. One dude on a Ninja ended up sliding under a guard rail on 116 and from what I recall was paralyzed from the waist down.

Every group ride I've been on has turned into a shit show (although the v-twin ride I went on a bit later was a bit better, although as equally illegal).
