I AIWB my shield with a spare mag in a Alex and Ry Designs Master Blaster. I wear pretty slim fitting clothes usually and it disappears. I'm a big fan of their stuff and they're from Manchester, so local for some of you guys.

Also most people don't notice you printing. Usually just gun owners.

I was out for sushi the other day and a dude was OWB carrying a revolver with a pretty long barrel. Nylon holster so the barrel wasn't exposed. Looked like a flashlight or something for anyone who didn't know what they were looking at. Thing wasn't even printing, it was straight up OUT. No one noticed or said anything

Do you still have to use the holding ring to run 45 auto in a revolver?

I'd go with the 5059 for everyday.

Bushnell Trophy, inexpensive ($46) reviews for shotgun use put it right up there with a $450 Aimpoint

I have one on a 12g and works as intended. No complaints especially at the price point.

good to hear, I get leery of online reviews, even though the one I made my decision on was a Field & Stream review. Apparently most red dots can't stand up to the recoil of a 12ga

Its on a lightweight backyard plinker. Since it kicks like a mule with 2.75-3" shells I run a lot of mini shells through it. With what I have put through it with full size shells it held zero well but wouldn't say I tortured it enough long-term. Either way its not like the price tag is in the hundreds.

Been wanting Sig to come out with a small striker fired pistol... Was kind of hoping it would be an LCP competitor, though but figured that'd be a longshot.

They'll fuck it up. Unless its an original "P" serise (IE: P225, P229, P226, P220, P230), they'll try to reinvent the wheel, make it rectangular, tell everyone its revolutionary, and the Sig nerds will buy it.

p320 is too bulky since it's a double stack...no where near an lcp size...p365 is in between a single stack and a double stack...think they named it the p365 for 365 days in a year meaning every day carry?

Well I can tell ya it'll at least be smaller than the M2. The P365 is reported to be fairly comparable to the shield, LC9s and G43.

That's what I have now. As Point said, it's fairly bulky. The 365 is lighter & smaller in every dimetion than the P320 SC. And since I'm in MA, I can only carry 10 in the mag anyway....

    P365:
    OVERALL LENGTH
    5.8 in (148 mm)
    OVERALL WIDTH
    1.0 in (27 mm)
    HEIGHT
    4.3 in (109 mm)
    WEIGHT
    17.8 oz (500 g)

    P320SC:
    OVERALL LENGTH
    6.7 in (170 mm)
    OVERALL WIDTH
    1.3 in (33 mm)
    HEIGHT
    4.7 in (119 mm)
    WEIGHT
    24.9 oz (706 g)

    Re: Guns...

Be curious to see how this shoots compared to my LCP.

I was pleasantly surprised how well that little gun shoots compared to an LC9, side by side. So was everyone else at the range.

And I'm a Sig fanboi, so naturally I'll want to buy this so I won't be a Glock tacticool knob.

the dimensions seem wild...0.01in less tall, same width, 0.5in less length, 3.3oz lighter and holds a 10 round mag...size requirement = check...just have to compare for accuracy/recoil/shootability/reliability...if all checks out i may be trading up...with mag guts i can get 7+1 with a flush mag...10+1 is moar betta!...the only downside i can see right now is carrying extra mags in your pockets will be heavier and bigger...seems like a no brainer at the moment...we'll see how it tests out

that review showed some problems with the lube or the temperature or maybe just a break in period...have to see how it all shakes out

the grip wall must be thin to account for the wider mags i would imagine

also does anyone know why some links are not showing up for me other than when i quote someone...i can't see the link i quoted in the above post

    Re: Guns...

I was playing around with my .308's and some new ammo yesterday. Cheapo PMC Xtac Match made a solid 3 shot group at 100 with my 700 and i got a decent 5 shot with Blackhills 168 match. I felt like I was a bit sloppy on the trigger for the black hills too.

I also brought out the RFB, which according to the intertweets, is horribly inaccurate. I through a Burris Mtac 1.5-6 scope on it to sight it in so i figured i would check out how accurate it was while sighting it in. I got MOA groups at 100 years with good ammo, but it is a pain to shoot seated from a bench.

On another note, sometime when I look down a scope for a while everything gets all fuzzy and shaky, is that normal?

Is it happening once your barrel is warm? You can get mirage effects from a hot barrel which will mess with the view in your scope.
