[QUOTE=RandyO;1552149]Did some shooting today with my Henry 30-30, and Raging Judge, been working on my range, clearing it out better, more angular separation between targets, reset the bench for better alignment Attachment 51511Attachment 51512Attachment 51513
If that's your backyard range, kudos. That's quite the mobile excavation setup.
I have both. It's weird that you mention caliber swiping because my 226 will run 9/40/357. The 320 I have in an X5, the target model. It's good, but nothing amazing. The 226 is a service pistol, and you are already familiar with the pros and cons of the metal gun. For my money, target shooting alone, I think the Canik tp9 sfx is one of the best buys on the market.
Not exactly gun related but anyone here ever use any of the console safes?

I’ve never used one for a car...but I do have one I’m selling that has a mounting plate that could be mounted in a car so you can remove the safe and bring it somewhere else to another mounting plate...can’t mount it in a console though...under a seat maybe or in a trunk...I used it as an indoor electronic quick access safe so I never used the mounting plate...but a console safe seem like an easier access location

The selling point of the 320 isn't so much about swapping calibers (though you CAN do that pretty easily too), but mostly swapping the grip modules & slide lengths... you can go from a full length 17 round grip to a 15 round compact/carry length grip to a 12 round subcompact grip in about 20 seconds. And the grip modules are cheap as hell... Like 30-50 bucks. So that's kinda awesome.
And you can mix/match slide lengths a little as well... Full length slide, compact slide, subcompact slide, though that's a bit pricier.
But the 320 vs 22x debate is primarily a matter of what flavor you like best... a polymer striker or an alloy hammer. They're both great tho.
JC, it's interesting you don't like the X5. The more Heider shoots his the more he likes it. He's done some work to it though. Trigger kit, tungsten grip module, magwell. It makes for a great production USPSA set-up if you want to go striker fired over da/sa or sao hammer.

Maybe I expected something special? It seems equivalent to a base model canik or slightly better than a glock. I did a SRT on it which helped a little, but it still creeps, and is heavy. It’s nice to shoot with an optic ona pistol, but if it didn’t have that I would never take it to the range.
The Grey Guns trigger transforms it. Though there's another company that's about to come out with a more adjustable trigger that looks pretty promising.
Hell if we ended up havin a gtg at the range sometime I'm sure he'd let ya do a side-by-side comparo.
Could try it next to my SC as well to see the real difference.

Have 320 RX full size and compact, both in 9mm also have 226 MK25 among others. Love them both and cant see passing them on. The MK trigger is good but could use a SRT kit. The 320 was good out of the box but a Grey Guns Competition trigger kit was a godsend and really cranked it up to 11!

Anyone shot the p365 sas?...wondering how the sights are
Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Looked at one this past weekend... I like it a lot and think a 365 is in my future, but to be honest, I think I'd go w/ a regular 365 over the SAS.
Now as stated, all I did was HOLD it, but I feel like the Meprolight FT Bullseye sighting system that the SAS uses would make it a LITTLE bit tougher to quickly pick up the front sight in a self defense situation. That said, in a self defense situation, you're probably more likely to be point shooting rather than lining up a sniper shot anyway...
When you're just at the range and not looking for quick sight pick-up, they seem like they'd be plenty effective though... but like I said, if I were going to buy tomorrow, I'd probably lean towards the regular 365.
Do some google-ing on the FT Bullseye sight. There are some videos out there.

I'm pretty sure that either version, without safety, are LEO only if you're purchasing from an FFL.
At least that's what I was told at the Gun Parlor.
