Vermont is so much better than anywhere else. And the Berkshires. And Maine. Happy Thanksgiving and well wishes for you and your loved ones.

Maine, Vermont and NH were #1,2,3 in percentage of second homes already. In VT NY and CT residents well outnumber MA.

MA doesnít have as high a percentage but has 60,000 second homes on the Cape and more in the Berkshires. The Cape draws from all over.
Of course that makes sense. When you buy a million dollar 2 bed 1 bath on Boston buying a cabin with 20 acres for 60k is a steal.

Iím one of the few (idiots) who bought land again in MA lol (8 acres in the Berkshires). But I would love a cabin like Ginoís.

    Fuckiní bummer.
When I eventually get this thing (and Iím working off the angle that we all will) racking my brain to see where I let my guard down and/or how I managed to pick it up is going to be high stress.

When we were send for testing (Friday and Monday) I was furious because I kept insisting it’s impossible we got it. We are so stupidly careful. Masks all the time when in public. Hand sanitizer in all our cars. Distancing like crazy. I’m the only one from our house who does groceries, fills up the cars with gas, etc. our weakest link it’s our daycare but even they are insanely careful, which is why we chose them.

Yeah. I was just telling the wife how annoyed I am going to be when we get this even after being so careful.

TBH, though I take the risk seriously, I was never super vigilant about my actions to avoid getting it. That said, I have been vigilant in my efforts to not spread it, for what it's worth.

Hey Vermonters: No Massachusetts for you!

    https://www.wcvb.com/article/mass-re...-list/34807924

“The travel order has exemptions, including for those who are just passing through Massachusetts, commuting across state lines for work, those arriving in Massachusetts for medical treatment, military personnel traveling under orders and those who are traveling for work in essential services.

DPH says states are included on the list based on meeting two criteria: average daily cases per 100,000 below 10 and positive test rate below 5%, both measured as a seven day rolling average based on data from covidexitstrategy.org.”

Amazing that RI is so high -- is there one section of the state where just everyone has covid or is that 4.62% rate uniformly distributed?
