I found a beautifully kept 05 CRF250 for sale. How much better are the newer bikes? Should I hold out for 08-10?

Awesome bikes, go for it. I moved up to an 07 and the difference is minimal, I just liked the dual exhaust.

if the thing is in great shape then I would say def. snag it for 2k...better yet though find a 250 2smoke

my buddy just went from a carbed 09 kx250f to a 2011 kx250f with FI and said the response is insane...so if you wanna really splurge just hold out for an FI bike.
