the animation in the first video is jaw-dropping.
wow. just wow.

That's going to set the bar, looks nasty.
I've been talking about that front intake/rear exhaust for years, the other way just doesn't make any sense.
It's all water under the bridge, and we do enter the next round-robin. Am I wrong?
Tasty.

ya seems like a great idea for tard with that front intake anyway...I like the new technology but I think it is ugly compared to the honda and kawi. Its like opposite of the new hondas, weird sharp lines versus flowy new plastics of the crf

MX #505
I like the ktm-esque flowing rear end...if the crf was white/black it would be even better!
I gotta see a new yzf in person though, have only seen the pics

MX #505
i think they both look great, the YaMaHa is sweet in white, side plates are a little odd though.
still think the 2010 TC is waaay sexxxier![]()

I'm partial to bikes that look light and seeing through from side to side just makes a bike look light. In pictures, the yammie looks 20 lbs lighter than the honda to me. Covering messy packaging with smooth farings has never impressed me. I want to see the heart of the beast, and it should look clean and puposeful. Win for Yamaha, fail for honda.
great point, there is a lot of coverage, but i still dig the new Honda.
i always wonder why all MX bikes dont have a nice wide grab handle under the rear of the seat like my bike. ridiculously handy. both of the bikes above look tricky to grab quick and throw on the stand.
Beta 200RR
check out the new Suzukis, even worse. the YZ seems like you could grab the subframe a bit but its a little forward from the best leverage spot
EDIT: and speaking of stands, that Honda is gonna sit front-high, look at the base of the frame, super angled![]()

yeah, that bend in the exhaust to get some length looks just like my Ape's rear cylinder header pipe.
a lot of racers asked if heat would cause the shock to perform differently, wonder if the same questions will pop up about the YZ. looks like they contained it within some sort of cover though (?) gotta watch the vid again. EDIT: watched the vid again, its not wrapped as close to the shock as my Ape header.

I like the sharp and pointy. Probably because my RMZ looks like a Razor.
