Adam you are a god damn beast!!! Mad respect.
FUCK THAT, YOU HAVE SOME HUGE BALLS.
Awesome, and congrats on purchasing a proper, oil burning, expansion chambered dirt bike. Though I have a feeling that pipe will become quite the conversation piece.
I’m pretty content just watching a hard enduro on tv. To have to absolutely wrestle a bike like that just to survive a lap doesn’t hold as much intrigue as seeing it on the yootoobs.
You gonna do any local events to cross train?
I got tired pressing play on the Youtube video...
Training is coming along. Abuse on the Peloton bike and now night time snow riding. This is going to be key. Being able to ride multiple times a week for most of the winter is turning out to be great. Seat time is helping bike control and endurance.
BTW. I'm in love with riding in the snow and the mother loving Husky...

Deep snow seems like great training for mud. Breaking trail is almost like riding a jet ski. Then each lap after is like an endless rut you need to follow.
Why didn't i buy these tires years ago?

I finally wrestled mine on today. I fucking hate that rear.
It might come off with a sawzall.

It would seem that it's going to be a few days before I ride again.. Dammit it's fucking cold out there. Maybe a quick ride on Saturday..

A year late but we went to TKO this year.
It was freaking sweet.
I did not ride. I went to support my buddy. After seeing the course, I should have ridden. Honestly the Saturday courses were not that hard. The course at Tough Like RORR was harder. The Pro course on Sunday was a different story but so few get to race that....
It's a great event at a great venue. For an offroad race it's very spectator friendly. Heck we could watch from our pit.
Next year I will try again to get an entry I think.
Tough Like RORR is on the list again too. That race is nasty hard. The guys that laid that out are demented freaks!!
P.S. It's a long ass drive to TKO from Upstate NY. I put 2400 miles on there and back.
awesome you made it. i kept meaning to find this thread to see if you rode it.
if you're hungry for some gnar closer to home, we were out at October Mtn again on Sunday and ran into the NETRA trail boss scouting for Sept 29th RocktoberFast Enduro ... not sure what they have planned but there is plenty of challenging terrain in the northwest corner of the forest.
EDIT: a comment from last years RocktoberFast... :D

Woah that was a capital E Enduro!
My buddy Tom, whose done TKO and RORR said this was significantly more difficult. Despite that, I had a ton of fun.
Damned shame you can’t plate that three hunnie
