Re: 92 WR250 Power Valve Woes
I'm using Belray H1R, 40:1 mix, I've also got the following on the oil shelf:
Amsoil Interceptor - Didn't think I'd get any H1R in time for Stimilon
Yamalube 2R (Heard nothing good about this stuff over at TT, wife bought it for me though, she's trying to learn this stuff.)
Havoline TC-W3 for the weed whacker
It doesn't blubber at idle with the 40p, but it had a nasty habit of stalling when shutting the throttle down hard and letting it idle down if I didn't open the air bleed up more. Idle speed continues to rise as you back out the bleed. It does blubber when you start to crack the throttle and ask it to go. I haven't tried the 35 since I dropped the needle, but I'll give it another go.
And while that TTR would be fun, I think I'd rather see if Doc is looking to replace the 70 I sold him and maybe get it back in the stable with it's twin.
Re: 92 WR250 Power Valve Woes
the H1R flash point is 435°F (!) way high temps needed, not helping your burn at all. Spooge Fest
try the Interceptor, flash point is only around 187°F
