I totally want in on that. Looked like MX riders struggling through more than trail riders.
It's all water under the bridge, and we do enter the next round-robin. Am I wrong?
aha, some dope crashes

KAWASAKI RULES WOOOOO!
I was there. Everyone struggled. Not sure how you can tell who's a MX rider and who's a trail rider thou. Based of headlights? Handguards? Watching the vid a bunch of the guys who 'look' like pure MX guys were actually trail riders. I'm pretty certain there weren't any 'only' MX riders there at all actually. For example Jeff's bike looks like a MX bike but that's actually his wood's CRF250 and he rides woods as much as mx, if not more. Joe Kessler's bike also looks MX'y in the vid but while Joe races A MX he also races A-level GNCC's and won the New England A Hare Scrambles series recently.
Pretty tight-knit event and hoping for more people next year. The guy that runs the place didn't really do any advertising as this was the first go-around. Jeff and some of the other local riders were up there Saturday helping design the features. It looked easy walking in but it was gnaaaar.
Who's who of the people I know that were there are:
Jeff Wood is #9 in PRO. Stalled in the huge mudhole in both Q and the Main and put him a lap down both times early. Once was back up and running he ran the Pro Class Winners pace without issue (rejoined race at same time leader went by)
Eric Wood is #5 in EX and had a epic crash and meltdown in the final
Jackie Hapla is #3 on the CRF150 in BEGINNER and did a great job on that lil bike.
Jason (Jeff's neighbor) is #3 on the CRF250 and won AM by a large margin.
Joe Kessler is #778 in Pro Class. Former LRRS motard pioneer and overall wildman.
Matt "Batman" Silva is #40 in BGNER (he doesn't ride dirt much) and after submarining Leif's backup bike twice in the mud in the Main he'd had enough
Chris Arbor is #23 in EX on Tim Allen's KXF250 and won EX I think (or podiumed or something). Chris had a massive wreck in the rockpile in Q (it's in the vid) and got pretty beatup. Still rode awesome in the main.
Chris "Pace" Pare #17 ran EX and was in the Top 3 before a wreck.
Leif is #??? and is on a CRF250X in beginner.
I took a shitload of pics but haven't uploaded them.
On a side note I rode trails for the first time in like 2.5 years recently and it was a hoot.

Here ya go - this is the real thing
Two things help getting older - BMW'S and Metamucil
They really need better signage. Or any signage. Or even word of mouth. Or messenger pigeons.
What they are doing now is not working so well.

FYI I just found out the WVRC is doing 3 more Endurocrosses this year. Yup, in the snow and with spikes.
