Any one been to bear brook yet this year? Just got a new 450 yesterday and was planing to head to bear brook this weekend. Is the park open this year? I know it didn't last year due to lack of snow, not really an issue this season......

If it is open think they will get the snow from today under control in time to ride Saturday?

Belive it or not its easier riding in the snow a lot of the time. They groom it smooth so all the normal ruts, roots, rocks and trees are covered over. Just have snow ruts and soft spots to watch out for. Bear Brook in the winter is a 4th gear expiriance all day long.

All depends. First priority is getting a grip on our track. I MAY hafta work Friday, which'll leave me Saturday to check it. IF I don't hafta work Friday, and it can be salvaged, I'll most likely be out on the lake first cleaning then riding. It's not outta the question though. What's 'pretty early'?

Sled coming WIDE around a corner on ice, right at me. I try to hug the side, end up getting sucked into the woods. No more headlight assembly on that side. The two fucksticks behind him didn't bother to stop and they saw the whole thing. THREE more sleds went by me while I was trying to dig myself out and never gave me a second look...

Ummm.... Prety early for me is like 9:30 or 10:00 very early is like 8:00, any earlyer than that is just a really late night. But i have showed up there at 7:00 . Its nice to beet the sleds out.

The (ice) track is in my backyard basically. If the ice isn't total shit, then YES - we'll need more help. Hopefully I'll know for certain tomorrow, definitely know by Saturday...

I rode bear brook 4 years ago on a new set of dunlops no studs on my cr250. It was exiting. Posible in great conditions but NOT recomended. I broke lots of shit that day.

I've heard dirtbiking on any of those groomed trails this year sucks. Again, just what I've heard. I HAVE seen 'em out there in the past though, looks like shit tons of fun!

We stopped for a smoke break and you rolled in and hung with us for a few. I swear that was you. If it wasn't, there was another dude out there that winter with a CR250 dressed just like you...

If conditions are gona be tough she will have to stay home. Deep snow is no place for a beginer on a 125. Keeping it on the pipe in the snow will be a rough job.

EDIT: and im sure we will find out who brought the biggenest gun about 40ft from the lot.

If I had a lowering kit I'd let her try my WR, the 265 lugs like an XR now that I've got the carb somewhat dialed in. Damn thing is tall for me, can't imagine her trying to conquer it, nor do I want to risk the embarrassment of her totally owning it while I struggle...
