Going to the Beartown ride? - ride offered

I have a pickup and I have room for one other smallish bike on the truck. I have a Yama XT225 and another small bike would fit alongside mine. If you want to split diesel fuel <cough cough> from the boston area, let me know. I would have to load the bike on Friday night, so we could leave by 8am Saturday. OK, I just loaded the bike on the truck but did not realize that a toolbox was in the bed. So... it will probably fit another bike but I posted this too late for it to be of much use. Sorry. I just realized that I had the truck today...

After 2 days of dirt riding... I'm EXHAUSTED!

3/4 of the way through today's ride... my upper body basically shut down

I could barely squeeze the handlebars enough to hold onto them... which made for some tough rocky hillclimbs.

Oh well... got all winter to get back in shape.

I hear we're in for a cold spell starting Thursday.

I'll winterize the bikes tomorrow and if we get a nice day... it's no biggie to throw the battery back in, etc.

I don't care if you crash all the time And I'm just as slow if not slower on my dirtbike

Not sure on next weekend yet, depends if the bike is fixxed or not.. Plus there is a RIORV meeting/ride on Sunday that I plan on going to.. I can get details on that if you are interested in going

oh, the humiliation....

I ended up going to Crow Hill and getting lapped by 8 year olds on their 50s... I should have driven out to the Berkshires but the prospect of 5 hours (roundtrip) in a loud and uncomfortable pickup, riding and then racing back at night to get home to wife and kid was, well... not enticing.

Next time! I'm serious - I just have to stay overnight somewhere so that the family can tag along.
