    body armor

I'm looking at buying some chest/back armor. What's good? I am leaning towards stuff that is kind of built into a stretchy shirt as opposed to football type pads.

I'm also looking at a pair of bicycle type shrts with armour in them.

    Any comments on this stuff?

I saw deb with some stuff just like you're describing from motophoria. Stretchy thin shirt with full padding.

It's all water under the bridge, and we do enter the next round-robin. Am I wrong?

SixSixOne makes a "pressure suit" which my crash-happy friend Ralph uses. So far he is sans broken bones, so it must work pretty well.

    EVS has that junk:

    As does Thor:

I've been thinking of trying one, so that I can more easily wear the armour beneath a jacket in colder weather. I like to take my external armour off in warmer weather during breaks, especially if it's covered with quag.

Dainese makes one that I've used for years.
Safety Jacket but I think they renamed it.

I had an older 661 and it fell apart after a few rides. Maybe the new stuff is better?

I have a 661 also. LOVE it... the only problem I have with it is the belt sorta rides up a bit. Other than that it definately serves its purpose well.

Do a search online or if you're really going to get one email me. I got mine online from a moutain bike shop (downhill racers use em) for about half the price that Brockton cycles wanted.

    Padded Shorts

These are the shorts I'm thinking of adding to my collection of dirt biking protection...

especially after the speed of today's ride.
