we rode bumpy, rocky , loose gravel dirt roads , breaking it free around corners , and generally having a good time. I didn;t get pics of the "good stuff" as I was too busy riding
of those 6.5 hrs we were not riding for about 1/2 hr , 20 min lunch break and 2 5 minute breaks .

I would say whats missing around here are people that actually get out and ride instead of picking eachother appart from the comfort of their keyboard .

no real route numbers , I just looked at a detailed map and tried to find dotted line roads which usually mean dirt .


SSG I'll let you know the next time we are heading out , though I am sure you will either be on call or it will be threatening rain .

That looks like it was a great ride, Sean.
I rode the Somers Fun Turkey Run on Sunday. I had made the wise decision to leave my DRZ in the truck and borrow a good friends KTM 250. The Hero sections were brutally tight, and the stock KTM seat beat me up pretty badly, but, overall, it was a great run! Mileage was cut from 80 to 54 or something, but by the time we got back to the truck, I was happy the mileage was cut!
We were among the first to finish the course and return to the parking area, and we watched as roughly 75% of the folks returned from the wrong direction. The course was very challenging, so many riders bailed out and found their way back by tar.
The Adventure riders returned and their bikes were mostly clean.

nice thread Sean, I always enjoy your picture stories since they have the right amount of (few) words and a lot of good pictures. Bikes look great, and the wife sure looks like she's having a great time too.
