That's the classic sand tire from Dunlop. I have it on my '98 CR (and I think I put it on in '98). It works well at Southwick, but I've raced at all kinds of tracks with it and it works well on all surfaces.

if it's a soft terrain tire, does that equate to soft compound and a bad tire to stud for ice?
Holy hell that's cheap! I thought $65 ea locally was good for D756s but that takes the cake.
