Registration not necessary. My bike isn't registered, and I've not had any problems yet *knocks on wood*. Its a vast forest where I ride that the law enforcement has not yet bothered patrolling.

You're definitely welcome to come up, but there's a couple things you might want to bear in mind - one, I'm quite a ways from Waltham, and two the trails we ride are pretty tough, you'll have a lot of trouble without a good set of dirt tires.

If you can't make it up this weekend, I ride until it snows.

Rims/ tires were shipped yesterday from maine, so baring any unforseen problems (which there probably will be lol) im in for sunday. Anyone else in the boston/ worcester area interested in carpooling up to vt to ride?

If I can find the time to get my ass up there, Plan on riding from the time the sun comes up till the time the sun goes down come broken bones or broken bikes.

You tiny state people are all spoiled.

3 hours driving time is nothing.

I've had commutes that on certain days neared 3 hours. Used to do half day snowboard trips to Tahoe, that was around 4 hours each way.

Wanna ride the dunes in Glamis and you live in the Bay Area? Try 11 hours and you haven't left the state yet.

Dirt bikes in my experience = lots of driving if you live anywhere metropolitan. It's worth it.

I dont care where we ride so long as it involves lots of dirtyness and no game wardens/ police (no bike registration).

I climbed some hills today that shouldn't be attempted on anything other than a trials bike. While I think I ought to have a certain feeling of accomplishment, I'm mostly just sore.

I work during the week, but you should definitely come by some time on the weekend. I'm planning on riding a little later today, if'n you're interested.
