And by "win" I mean I didn't jack myself up two weeks before race season starts, had tons of fun and was able to get more and more comfortable with track as the day went on.
My whole body was stiff as shit this morning, though. Thanks, Alieve.

I have a picture of me in pants and a long-sleeved shirt.. should I post it?
I crashed every lap. I crashed a lot! But I had an awesome time, didn't hurt myself and didn't break the bike.
Big thanks to you Sam, Paul, Clinton and Kerry. Paul I have your oil and Kerry's gear, let me know when I can drop it off at your place.

I wish I had a picture of the track marshall's face when you went down to get on track like that. Lol
Seriously Chris, big props for riding on an mx track the day before a race for your first time on the dirt EVER!!
I've been dirt biking for years (never on a mx track) and I was shitting myself a little the first couple times out.

Also, you remind me of Jim Jeffries. Might just be that all Australians look alike to me, though.

Yeah, it was way harder than I thought. I'll post about it in a little while but I just made lots of rookie mistakes. And combine that with how physically exhausting it is to keep crashing, you just keep making mistake after mistake..
Thanks Sam, it was great to meet you as well. I don't have balls but I do have shit for brains, so I basically went out there thinking, "What's the worst that could happen?". Ignorance is bliss...
And yes, we all do look alike. Jim Jeffries is a riot though!
So did he get on with shorts and shirt sleeve? Looks like a missed the fun.

Who's riding where this weekend? I have a really minor gas leak to take care of (petcock hose) but I think I should be kosher as Christmas by Saturday.
Pretty sure I remember seeing that crow hill is closed this Saturday because of Foxboro Supercross
yeah, i totally forgot about SX on Sat so i won't be down at HVD.

Hey guys! Thanks so much for your help on Saturday. You turned around from your practice and helped me pack up in record time. I was able to catch the ambulance and follow it out. I love my track family no matter where they are...dirt, pavement. And luckily, he is doing better and better each day.
I found it funny though. The nurse was like make sure he doesn't sit around too much and that he gets up and walks around. Umm yeah we have the exact opposite problem with him

Reviving this thread because I wanna go back and wouldn't mind meeting some folks from here when I do.
Rode crow hill mx yesterday. Thirty bucks and it's open 1-8. About 25 guys there, total, which was awesome since there's usually only around 8 riders on the whole track at any one time.
That track is super, super fun. Very flowy and confidence inspiring since it is groomed often and doesn't get crazy rough with so few riders...so you can actually work on body position, braking, cornering, jumping, etc, without getting bucked off all the time. Wish it wasn't an hour and a half drive.
cool, are they doing Tues/Thurs again? heard they had to stop due to drought.
