Re: Crow Hill MX Sat April 16
If we get there by 10, we can ride our motos before it gets crowded and get out as the crowds are pouring in.
I've never really found crowds to be a problem out on track.

I'll plan on getting there at the ass-crack of dawn so I can embarrass myself with as few people watching as possible. I just read the Crow Hill rules and you can't run a kickstand (fair enough) so I'll need a stand too! :(

I have a little triangle you can use.
I plan to arrive around 9-9:30 to get set up.

you can arrive early, but you might just be waiting on the entrance road, they don't allow you to reg and drive in until 10 on Sat. at least that's how it's been in the past. think i used to aim for about 30min before (?)
Re: Crow Hill MX Sat April 16
and on the stand... other than a triangle type, you can use a tie-down hooked to your truck/trailer -> handlebar then lean the bike.
Re: Crow Hill MX Sat April 16
I've never ridden there before, but pretty sure it says they break into groups if it gets busy.
Also what is "gear"? Lol
I usually ride hillbilly style, work boots, work pants and t-shirt, helmet and gloves.
Doug, I'll try and remember to bring my fork oil tool.
Joel, get your fat ass out here, boy!

Okay, full disclosure, I bought cheap riding boots a couple years ago. I just got some new sidi supermoto boots and I have a pair of motocross pants coming Friday.
Point is, you can ride with minimal gear. I just rode tonight with the pants and shirt I wore to work.

Plenty of places to ride out here in the west. Your welcome to crash at my house, even.

OK, Oil change done, new brake lever and throttle cable protection on, some loctiting of bolts done. Just need to clean the air filter tomorrow and take the plate and sidestand off.
Re: Crow Hill MX Sat April 16
I don't even want to think about dirt right now... ugh. Might bail on this just so I can rest.
Re: Crow Hill MX Sat April 16
