If I go there having never ridden a bike on dirt, will I die?

It can't be any worse than me going to Paul's sand pit and Clough for my first 2 times. You'll be fine.

Nope, we'll show you where to enter and exit the track. You'll be fine.

The most important thing is to be predictable, especially when rolling jumps. pick a line to one side or the other and stick to it all the way through the jumps and following straight. It's when you move across the track that you are a danger.

Thanks guys. This is a big ask, but does anyone have spare gear that I could maybe borrow? I've ordered a bunch of stuff but I don't think it'll be here in time. I'd need knee pads, gloves and a pressure suit/chest protector. It doesn't have to be pretty, and I can pay you in beer.

I have spare knee guards I will bring. mechanics gloves will work fine, or whatever light gloves you might have.

Interesting. It does look open. I'm sticking with CH. It's much closer for almost everyone.

i'm sticking with CH as well, dont have the time to hit NHMX. if you guys bail on Sat CH post up, i'll hit HVD instead.

planning to roll in at 10am Sat, prob park in that upper open area to right when you first pull in since i have a car/trailer setup now. more space.

Paul how do you haul the bike now? hitch carrier, inside or trailer?

I have Kerry's trailer for 2 bikes, and a hitch hauler for 1. Bikes never go inside the van.

We will have you covered as long as you have boots and a helmet. Jerseygirl may not ride, so her chest protector would then be available.

If you think it means I was giving Sam a hard time than yes it means what you think it means.

If you think it means I might be there to play at CH on Sat than it is not likely what you think it means.

It is a possibility but at this point not likely. Still need to get some things done on a couple of bikes so they are ready for the next two weekends and then that still leaves the things I need to do to the YZ to get it ready to go for the season as well. Hope you guys have a good day out there.
