I'm waiting on clearance from the boss but expect to be there.

Re: Crow Hill - Sat 7/25

Hmmmmm I'll have to let a few more ticks off the clock before this one is called.

I have a STBEX-W that is keeping tabs / stalking me. Today ... She blasted me for going to the races on Sunday. I what races I went to but apparently she saw that I went riding with you guys at a track and assumed I was road racing

anyway I will keep this event on the Q.T. from the NESR stalker.

Re: Crow Hill - Sat 7/25

rain all week, track will definitely be sloppy

but its one of the best ways to learn though. last sloppy trackday helped me get more comfortable with the bike stepping out all over the place

    lookin forward to gettin dirty!

Re: Crow Hill - Sat 7/25

my bike is shinny new after a nice power wash last SAT ...... just need to change the oil filter, clean the air filter, adjust the chain, add oil and ride

C'MON ....... Justin, Mark, Ryan .....we have to out shine little brazil .....(j/k) T1 and deeto saw where I was parked last week and offered to air lift me out of little Brazil. there were 8 riders and two GF and the MoM of one kid all chatting away in Portugese .... tso kay for a few mins at the check out line in Wal-mart but alll day in the pits ... ummmmm

btw there will be another noob MX'er there that might be looking for some feedback from you experienced guys. he's a good kid and his dad is setting him up to race (to keep him out of trouble). hope the kid gets his dirt-on before doing any MX racing.

might be comin down with a buddy from work, he might have friends coming too... he said he'll call me tonight. Weather looks mint too.... if I do make it down it'll be an early ish day, get there when they open and be out of there probably around 2 or so. Too much to do tomorrow afternoon.

I wouldn't plan on riding tomorrow. I doubt it'll even be open, and if it was (by God), it'd be an absolute swamp of thick mud chowder. DAMN rain.

Re: Crow Hill - Sat 7/25

hmm, the new lake in my side yard has receded for the most part but i'm real curious what its like up at the track. might have to do a drive-by when i'm out later.

last Sat there was still a lot of standing water, couldnt even park in the lower lot. they were open on Thurs but i havent talked to anyone that rode.

an update would be killer... would suck to drive an hour plus and find out it isn't worth riding

Re: Crow Hill - Sat 7/25

if they are open, i think its worth it even though the track was tough last Sat, we still had a great day.

EDIT: just saw it's an NESC race day Sun 7/26 at Crow Hill. you can bet the Marshall's will be working hard to get the track in shape despite all the rain. weather looks choice from now through the weekend.

never made it all the way out to Templeton to scope the track but we've been having sun/clouds pretty much all day. if it keeps drying out like this the track will be mint!

heading out to do oil change, chain, etc.. .
