I'm gonna blow out of work around noon so I can eat lunch and arrive by 2. The days are getting short and I want do a lot of sessions. My new approach is not to push too hard in the first few motos, but try to get my focus as far out in front of me as possible, then let the pace come up to meet it.

aha, Rather than change both tires last night I put new front tire on and swapped out my rear wheel for another rear wheel that had a tire with more life on it...ghetto swap!

It's was great riding Crow Hill with you guys last night. I'm sore as hell today though.
I started out a bit slow when I was learning the track. By the last session I felt like I was nearly up to full speed. I wonder if I'll wear out the tires on my YZ before I sell it.

Yeah, nice hangin with you guys. It was a perfect afternoon for MX. Cool, cloudy, uncrowded, but with some superfast guys out there to burn in the good lines.

I was rusty, but eased back up to speed. My knees won't forgive me for casing that first jump after pit out, so I just backed off there. I also backed off on the looong jump after the sand so I could work on the jump in the lefthand turn. I did make some progress there and was layin it over a little, gettin it turned in the air. That was my favorite obstacle for the night.

I thought the track was in great shape. Some of the usual holes had been fixed and did not seem to be coming back. Especially the landing for the little dropdown after the fast sweeper up top, and the landing for the left hand bump corner mentioned above.

The downhill double could have used a little more lip though...

I'm not too sore yet...

ya fun day, the track was great and not a freeway, enough bumps to keep you on your toes. I was so close to wrecking like 5 times trying to keep up with dudes faster than me...really glad i didn't go down hahaa

I kept myself under control and didn't have any moments until I got sideways off the downhill double in my last session. Swapped really hard with feet off the pegs, but kept it on the wheels and called it a day.

My muscles feel great except my right leg, which is super sore. I guess I ride light on the left leg so I can shift while standing.

I'm already jonesing to go back...
