Re: Good day in the MUD at Clough

No single use break, get one and come play more than once. Can pick them up at the hardware store down the street from my house on the way, they have good hours too. Think they open at 9 on sunday morning. My plans are to ride akk day on Sunday. I've got a bunch of stuff to do saturday morning and early afternoon but might be able to sneak up for a couple hours before the sun goes down after, gonna have to play it by ear. You don't need me to go play though. There's a trail map in the parking lot.

It's all water under the bridge, and we do enter the next round-robin. Am I wrong?

Picking up the new bike tonight or tomorrow, plan is to be there by 9 or 10 and till the sun comes down or the bike or rider can't take any more abuse.

Agreed. Sunday is a definite - 9 or 10 am till I break or the daylight breaks.

All you need is a sticker and a bike! C'mon up!

Ok a week later - here are the bruises from my superman's and friendly encounters with underwater roots not running perpendicular to the trail.

No, but recommended. I've ridden there in the past with none and did OK. Now on any trails I used hand guards, tree branches hurt.

Yes. I would imagine crushing your fingers between the bar and tree with the added clamping force of the clutch or brake lever
would hurt like a mother f'er.

    Hmmm...what to do

not even crushing, but little branches whipping across your knuckles...

Mine won't be in till next week so I'll be riding this weekend without. Bring spare levers, sucks to end a day because of a lever the first 10 minutes into the day.

Tim, I'm in a black dodge magnum.

I will be heading down on Sunday. What road am I looking for that you unload from?

If anyone needs a registration, let me know and I can bring some with me to save you from having to look for a place to get one.

I will be in a red Nissan Titan.

I do need one. That would be great if I could buy one from you there. I was going to try and make time to do it today, but tomorrow morning would be better.
For the parking lot, take exit 2 off of 89, head towards Dunbarton(away from Concord). A few miles down turn left at the blinking yellow light, go about 3/4 miles and turn right at the closed down store. Go about a mile and I think it will be the first right that has the open gate. Go all the way to the end. If you have any trouble, my cell is 603-231-6114.
    Thanks
