Happily would...except I have tomorrow off, and she does not. I want to ride this weekend, which means the smart play is to pull the cylinder, assess the damage, and order parts ASAP.

Re: What have you done to your dirt bike today?
Didn't you just rebuild that?!

When you're pricing out how to repair it, consider having Eric Gorr / Forward Motion big bore and port it. I went that route with my WR250 when it was determined it needed cyl repair and I loved the results. You can dictate what you want for power delivery too.

not today but over the time i was home for xmas, took a rusted, beat up looking spare tw200 rear wheel:

REP apparently did this to the cylinder already.
It's the bottom end. The rod doesn't move on the crank, which is why it seized up. It's comforting that the top end is fine, since we rebuilt that when we got it.
Anyway...now the motor sits on my coffee table, waiting for Ms. Miskell to split the cases, and for the parts for arrive from Sportbike Track Gear.

Re: What have you done to your dirt bike today?
Started to install my hot grips today. I think Yamaha molded the OEM grips directly on the handle bars, never seen anything like it before! 1/2 hour to scrape off each grip. New grips are on, a nice clamp on design...all I have to do is wire them and I'm warm!

Re: What have you done to your dirt bike today?
Today: paid the suspension guy, ordered stuff to build spikes, clutch kit, new grips, grip heater kit...
Oh...and picked up a fucking sponsorship. Fasst Co.
I might sell the flexx bars that I have for a straighter bend.

Re: What have you done to your dirt bike today?
Sponsors! Fuck ya! You're gonna spike yourself?!?!??

Re: What have you done to your dirt bike today?

Well, I guess I will find out shortly. My wife bought me a Core 3.0 for my birthday. :-)
Z-Start is not an option for any KTM's with the DDS clutch...

Re: What have you done to your dirt bike today?
Umounted the shagged tires from the spare wheels, prep for ice tires. Rim locks are the biggest pain in the ass!
Swapped the bars for the spare set with heated grips.
