    Dirt Forums

What are some good dirt forums that you use?

Mostly bike related, can be mx or trail since I seem to be ridding both.

nesr dirty bastards gets enough traffic to be useful, and not so much that it's just a zoo

but I also frequent thumpertalk to read up on XR200R/RM125 talks and visit www.masstrailrider.com to see when the oxford group rides/NETRA/turkey runs/hare scrambles are

one note w' the bigger forums (TT, etc.): take the "tech" advice with a grain of salt

unlike street bikes, a lot of people that ride dirt bikes are younger and lack a clear understanding of how their bikes work

Ie. if someone says "bike bogs at low rpm/speed HELP ME NOW!!!"

the response will be: "you should take the baffle out of your exhaust. It'll make your 80cc bike go 80mph...I know...I've gone 80mph on my CRF80 and tested it with GPS. My friend has a new hypercharged KX500 and I smoke him every time."

or: "tighten your chain...it'll make you go faster."

Id suggest doing the same with street bikes. Ive seen a lot of wrong information and advice on how to fix street bikes on all forums.
