    PA dirtbiking ....

I'm down in PA. Outside Tamaqua... I've ridden pretty infrequently but dam this first day and the tight singletrack( like only about 10 " of the trail I can see through the overgrowth....more deer trail at most )
I'm a bit tired. Hill climbs descents locking rear wheel and just pointing.

Some hill climbs with shale, sharp shale that slides ubderneath. Did some creek riding thru old train tunnels. Couple drops in knee deep water. 2 guys are changing their oil right now from milk to clear due to sucking in water and one hydrolocking.
Tight singletrack thru tight trees where you need to dip a bar thru them, twist to get the 2nd thru.
Lost my front brake due to a dump in the first hour, ride the rest of the day with no front.

Lounging at the fire about to grill up steaks. Tomorrow then Mon riding and home Tuesday.
I'll post some pics and vid later.
Dam I suck at riding but I'm having so much fun.

Wr250f is doing ok but 2 guys are riding cr250fs that feel so so so much lighter and nimble.

Tamaqua? That's where Sylwia and I went for our little dirt bike mini-trip. It was private property though. Even run by "Over & Out Moto" (usually all-women's events but they turned this one event into a co-ed thing). Great time & fun riding.

    And yea... LOTS OF SHALE!

    Re: PA dirtbiking ....

    Back will post pics,
    Beat up , sore, tired
Maybe 60 total miles but so many smiles

Broken cluthc lever, bark buster fell off ( bolt vibrated off) torn shroud, broken rear fender, rear brake light wire torn, front brake banjo bolt loosened

Found some sweet single track, hard enduro single track as well.
It was awesme and need to go back again. Have GPX files to share if anyone wants some.
Need a new helmet, took the wr250f down not the kdx but the e start was a god send.
Need to download some videos such.
I thought i was a pretty green rider honestly... but after this trip, I'm pretty solid.

Issues during htis trip was 2 hydrolocks, 1 broken/ lost rear brake lever, a broken tail rack, bad gas in 2 bikes ( water) and my lost front brake. Trail repairs needed and done.
It was dusty!!!!. ran down to the "coal pits" as well and messed around. Got lost in the woods too.

    Overall great trip....

We parked over by here and drove the woods around the plant and then the other side of the road
