WAT
I have one. Love it. Get one.
steve has a 2012 250xcw.
That bikes former owner, also a member here, just picked up a new dirty scoot. :teehee:
I'd check with the tribal knowledge of industry insiders on the TPI 2t engines. I heard from some local mechanics that they aren't putting out that many into the market with the transfer port direct injection feature (not just FI). I think they want to gauge the response from the field. I will say that I love anything that makes my hobby easier to live with. No carrying oil on long ride when you stop at the pump. No warm/cold altitude adjustment to jets and clips on needles. I love my 17 KTM 250 XC-W but I'll be watching the reports on these bikes and will be looking forward to hearing how they run in the field. www.dirtrider.com 2018-ktm-250-xc-w-tpi-review
2018 netra schedule is up.

Discuss.
About the same as last year, but almost no TBD's for 2018? Kinda interesting that of the 13 scrambles, 6 are in CT. I see the tri-state TR made a re-appearance, and the Hoot Owl TR that I think was the substitute is out.
What's the Other Event at Richardsons Farm? There used to be a scramble there, right? Did it become a trail ride day instead?
Hoot owls are doing a tr. the tri state is theirs, not put on by the tri state club.
Yes, there has been a scramble at Richardson’s. I don’t know exactly what it is. Youth clinic maybe?
huh, no Dam Good events at all ... was hoping they would do another Sprint there, such a great time, but i guess that ship sailed long ago.
This has devolved into a general dirtybike dumping grounds thread, so I’ll leave this here.

‘I quickly realized this wouldn’t be one of those piece of cake enduros’
Where can I get one of those?
MX 23 in Brookfield open today, just sayin...
Rode Southwick 338 yesterday for open practice, along with seemingly 90 percent of the people who own dirt bikes in New England and New York State (it was “busy”). I’ve never seen so many riders on that track at once.
Dude pitted next to me drove 4.5 hours from Watertown NY, then seized his bike in the second or third session
The YZ 250 I bought freakin rips, and much fun was had.
For anyone interested, The Wick is running a three race series. This is the first time I’m aware of where any dirt bike series has ever been limited to just mx338. First race is next Sunday, and next Saturday is another open practice.
Brrr. It was chilly yesterday. Is the ground frozen in Southwick? How does that effect the track?

heard it was going to be a madhouse :D great you got out! lots of snow here still but temps on the rise late week.
Ground is thawed at the track...conditions were ideal but it got very rough
If anyone is looking to ride Sunday. Attachment 48948 Attachment 48949
So.. I neglected to get stickers for any of my stuff last year. Anyone know the earliest you can get your hands on a NH OHRV sticker for 18-19? Site says "mid june" but that seems awful late. Tell me that ain't so!
I'm not interested in a 14-month sticker. I can wait a few weeks rather than part with the extra $.
Also remember kids, join a club like MVTR. It's worth $30/bike to you now. Even true for out of staters.
I thought the 14 month stickers were available because the normal ones aren't valid until July 1st of the year they are issued.
In any case, the 14 month trail bike sticker is only $7 more than a 12 month.
Yeah. I'm being a tight-ass over $7!
I need the sticker/reg to try to street register a dirt bike, not even to ride. Did not realize they weren't valid until 7/1.
I really need to get my Honda running.
