Anyone else considering freezing their ass off at Hodges this weekend?
Not this weekend, but I have a few WFH days 2/10-2/12. Could go for a rip then.
Id go next weekend

7 degrees when I unloaded at Hodges this morning. First 15 minutes were brutal, but after that I was good. There were fresh tracks out there, but I didn’t see or hear anyone else.
sweet you got out ! goddamn it was cold this past wknd though ... were you on studs?
No studs. Probably could have used them, but it wasn't bad without them. Trickiest part was the softball sized rocks hiding under the snow.
nice, yeah, wasn't sure what trail conditions were like ... last image they posted before this latest storm didn't have much snow at all.
Yeah not much at all

Considering some MX this Saturday, anyone want to join at either Wareham or MX23? Maybe the wick if I'm feeling motivated!
Thanks for the heads up. Maybe I'll hit the Wick. First j day is in like 2 weeks.
Sergio and I tried to ride at mx23 last Sunday. Couldn't get in. JC got there half an hour before they opened and there was a line of cars halfway down the street.
Heading to N. Adams Sunday to check out BRO mx if anyone is around. Personally not interested in ham or Jesus and need to get ready for the first j day on the 11th.
Well, C Vet for this weekend's jday is full already. Not sure if I want to play in the C200 pool for the day.
Looks like most of the tracks around are opening. Might do that one day instead since it's 1.5 to 2 hr drive to most instead of 3.5 to 4 to Southwick.
Haven't spent a ton of time on a track, so might be good to work on some form and things.
I'll give my review of BRO later today.
Anyone else doing the j day tomorrow? Not only is c vet full, but so is most of the c groups. I'm doing c senior... because I'm old.
Headed to the JDay at NHMX tomorrow. Going back to face the demons since that's where I blew apart my shoulder last year.
Looks like the weather is going to be mint.
Connecticut senator Blumenthal recently received a request to fund a greenway through the Thomaston Dam facility. Please take a minute to email his office to ask him to deny it.

WRDA Meeting with USACE
The hearing meeting of the US Army Corp of Engineers to the Water Resources and Environment Subcommittee will be broadcast live on Wednesday, January 12, 2022 at 10 AM. TODAY!
The agenda doesn’t say anything about the OHV area specifically but it was originally brought up by Senator Blumenthal in conversation with the CT Coastal Management and the Senator was asking questions. We all need to listen in and see if the Greenway through the Thomaston Dam is discussed.

Thinking of heading down to Wrentham for the King Phillip enduro (NETRA) this Sunday.
Anyone ever done it (how is it)?
Or anyone else going?
I've got a nice fresh VE33s on the rear, that I might swap out for my mostly shagged MT16, so I don't destroy the new rubbah on the transits.
