you weren't the only one having some troubles yesterday Pete. rode with a friend in Upton, he had the chain pop off and it got wedged between the front sprocket and the swingarm pretty solid. After he made 2 trips to the house (luckily only 10 minutes away) for tools, and using part of the rock cliff we were on (conveniently) to get the rear wheel in the air, I finally got it free after banging the sprocket off from the other side.

only an hour of down time.. other than that, great riding day for us as well! even made it home on reserve.

ive got some shit i need to get done this week but i ususally have mon and wed off. i never go on weekdays because i have no one to go with. although riding with you would be very similar to riding alone.

Next time, remove the swing arm pivot bolt. You may have to drive it out with a drift punch (use a piece of 1/2" aluminum or brass stock if you can) be careful of the threads. It's the easiest way. I've do it trail side a couple of times.
