Check Boyesen's scratch and dent collection for even cheaper options. I'm running their covers on my motard, seem rugged enough especially compared to the plastic stator cover my machine shipped with.

There isn't an easier or harder way in MA there is only one way. See numer9's post in this thread http://www.nestreetriders.com/forum/...tal-87706.html

There are a few environmental police locations to choose from not just the one in Boston. Check their website.

Edit: number9's post explains how to get the dirt reg without repaying sales tax if you have already street registered the dirt bike. In a registering the dirt bike for off road use only situation you will need to pay the sales tax and then bring proof of having paid the sales tax to the environmental police when registering.

yes, you need MA ORV for Hodges. no, CMP does not do MA ORV.
