Renewal needed July 1.
I'm planning to ride again next LRRS event. It works out pretty good. Go up and camp at the track Friday night. Ride Saturday morning. Watch the races and see friends the rest of the day and go home at noon Sunday.

Unfortunately that's the same weekend as the NEMM double header @ Boxshop.
I'm always all heart eyes when I see woods that are all open like that. That really doesn't exist down here.

The tolerated stuff near me is similar, just WAY more rocks/hills/downed trees. And toyter.

it was dreamy to ride dirt, and only dirt i kept saying the forest floor is so clean! it's like someone swept it.

What's the fun of it if there isn't a 2' deep 8" wide rut to ride in that happens to be half filled with cantaloupe sized rollers every few feet?

You have no idea how much fun it is to ride a dirtbike on... DIRT! You can tune the suspension to actually corner fast instead of wallow like a donkey.
And Clinton, I think someone actually did sweep these trails this year to get them burned in. LOL
Cornering fast is fun, I'll give you that.
Every corner here has got something in it that wants to shoot you off line.
That's what I'm clicked in for.
I'm surprised to see so much sitting.

I went to MMI I know what Im doing here chief
Something's not addin up. Try second gear?
Jokes aside, does look like some good stuff. Nice to practice finding the limits of tires without the constant change of traction and changing landscape as the rocks move position from last time. One section of trail I really like dried out, and it's somewhat side cut as it goes over some roots. The last of the dry dirt fell out from under me as I went over it and the bike slid down the roots right out from under me. Probably need to start making a new line.

That looks like a fun place to rip. Tight with some good flow.
How big is the sand track?
Too many toys, not enough time.
sand track has 1:00 to 1:10 laptimes for a fast guy depending on configutration. Much longer for most as skimming the whoops here is extremely dicey, and everything for laptimes.
My new training routine is 2/2/2 2 laps of each section linked into a continuous flow. makes like a 12 minute lap. twice is a serious killer. The sand track is extremely taxing.
but we should all three sections x1 continuous timed sprint would be way too fun! (the sand track would eat me alive)
there isn't anything technical, but the soil is deceiving. i think i went down four times braking too late and going off line. high clay mixture makes for great dirt, but also super slick when you don't expect it. excellent slide practice.
can't wait to ride that little course again, nice break from our usual. and there is sooo much potential to up the ante with bigger logs + a rock garden. voila ! supermini GP.

The forecast has shit on my plans to do a street ride in VT tomorrow, was thinking about heading to Freetown. Forecast looks good down there. Anyone interested?
