    The math doesn't make it work as a stand alone profession... but if folks were close enough to keep an eye on it, it could work. Or, 10 dudes buy in for $20k each

    It crossed my mind, but I have access to more acres in my back yard, and if I wanted to pursue something like that, may make more sense to do it where we already live...

    Yeah, the only way it works as a business is if it is fairly centrally located - so it can pull customers from multiple regions.

    Northeast CT would be ideal as you would have Hartford, Springfield, Boston and Rhode Island as potential customers less than 1 hour drive. And it needs to be done like Hatfield-McCoy with trails being labeled as Easy Moderate and Difficult... just like the ski areas.

    I think I just read that Off road motorcycle sales were way down. Not surprising with so few legal places to ride.

    hmm, yeah, and with no good income payout it doesn't seem worth it

    on the other hand, 34 acres out in hemet CA with a house is $29k

    maybe I do need to build my own trail setup like you Kitt!
