Maybe sunday, no chance at saturday at all.
It's all water under the bridge, and we do enter the next round-robin. Am I wrong?
I already have plans Sunday hence the Saturday ride.![]()

I'd love too, but I had a close call with broken limb on the edge of a trail, when my front tire hit it got kicked up heading dead center a my throat, I thought my life was over. Not sure what happened but took a hard impact in the throat, but still upright I continued riding, like it never even happened . A couple miles later, the riders in my group stopped and asked how I was doing. I said OK, but I took a broken limb to my throat. So I lifted up my helmet so they could take a look. The look on their faces was not good, in two seconds they were knocking on lady's house, and I went in and got it cleaned up. Next off to the local hospital for some stitches, and the doctor said I was very lucky, it easily could have been deadly. It was a freak accident, one in a million, I wear full protective gear and it almost found the kink in my armor. Something like this sure makes you think about giving up riding. So I'm out, for at least a week but I'll before a ride around the 22, or 23.
Kevin
Holy shit Kevin,
Glad your ok.
Back a few years a go a few friends wore neck gaurds while playing hockey for such the ocational stick getting to the throat area. Go to a sporting goods store and get one! I think I will...
Heal up bud..

Sounds like this will happen Sunday now. Hesooorebuildinghisdirtbike thinks he can get it done in order to ride Sunday. I switched my plans to Saturday so I can ride this bitch!
I am legal in MA and would need to hit a NH bike dealership to get a NH Sticker in order to ride up there..
Where's nate?????

I'd be up for a ride on either day.
I'm legal in MASS also... not NH. (I'm street legal, but don't think that counts up there?)
The weather looks so so for Saturday... good on Sunday.

last I checked the weather was great for both days, cooler Sunday which is fine while in the dirt busting your ass!
Ok so we could have 4-5 people for Sunday?
Now where is good and what is convienent for everyone? Sounds like we have one or two NH peeps, one Boston boy, Springfield, and myself right smack in the middle of everyone..
Maybe we can get Mr. Kates out there?

Keep in mind that there are also two "organized" rides happening.
One in Westfield, MA... One in the forests out West.
I'd like to check out NH, but don't have a sticker and not sure it makes sense to get one unless it's good for a year (as opposed to just till the end of this year)
Anyone know for sure?
NH reg goes from June 31st-June 31st last I checked, same for Maine
Yamaha
am I correct that street legal is not good enough?
yep!
you need ohrv for trails and ice... and like mark said... they are good june to june.

If you ride offroad in NH, you need a offroad sticker. Your street plate may get you to the general store closest to the parking area, but that's about itOriginally posted by 35racer

Rumor has it that the park rangers and environmental officers are "catching up" on their ticket volume to recover from being closed for half the season this year. I'd make sure everything is legit in NH and you stay on the designated trails, especially at Clough
Yamaha
so... where do we get these stickers?
Can it be done on a Sunday?
If so, I same LET's RIDE!
Who's leading?
So, when are you trash-yapping track hounds going to take it to the DIRT track? We've got a fresh course waiting for you in Westfield this Sunday...![]()

Yeah, lets go to Crow Hill and weed out all the trash-yapping track hounds (that has a nice ring to it, I like it)Originally posted by ChR1s

I was considering doing it, but an 8-mile KNOX loop sounds like hell... even without the "rock garden"
If nothing else comes together... I still might show.
Problem for me is that I have no desire to compete in the woods. I think that would ruin half the fun dirt riding has for me.

This loop is nothing like B-town. It's primarily single track through the woods. A few rocks here & there. This is the track if you want to try a scramble.Originally posted by 35racer

And as for competing, it's no bar-banging affair for us old guys in the C class. Once past the start, you're riding alone most of the time. Passing is courteous for the most part, and if a faster rider passes you it gives you a chance to see if maybe you can up your pace. The "racing" aspect also affords you opportunities to enhance your riding skills. Pretty cheap track day if you ask me.We'll be there.

hmmm.... that might work.
It is close.

I think I am in I just need to get all my school work done on sat. to ride. I think NH is good for me because it costs to much to reg. in mass. But most bike shop in nh do stickers but only a few do them on sunday.
