    Dirty trails 12/5

Riding again at my house tomorrow. Have some single track to burn in and you'll probably get 20+ miles of 1st and 2nd gear type riding. It's going to be cold, but I wouldn't dress for it as you'll be taking layers off often.
PM if you're in and for directions.
Riding by 11:00am, planning on doing a little work in the trails ahead of time so if you want to get here earlier, that's fine to.

I'm about 95% on this...coming from work in Plymouth ma in the am and riding down, so I'll try and get there early.

Chip, I'll pm you my address. If you need directions, let me know.

James, no need to bring the saw or trimmers, thanks for the offer though.
There's not much cutting that needs to be done, it's more of making the rock gardens more ridable

Just do what I do. I have the eliminator out back. Its a bunch of down trees. Its the hardest part of an easy trail system. If you cant get over that you cant ride

Getting over them hasn't been an issue (except for my first try ), it's making it through the section without scraping bits of aluminum from the smingarm..the foot pegs...and body parts! haha

It's funny how it's always that first half mile that burns the arms.

Semi open to limited numbers and reasonably quiet bikes. The trails are on mine and my neighbors land so far. Let me know when you're available.

    I'm in central/western RI

Thanks for showing me around. After some new sneaks and a hose-off I'll be back. Cheers.

21 miles and I will be feeling this tomorrow. Didnt get in the "groove" today it seemed. Couldnt seem to get as comfortable in the corners as last weekend. I am wondering if it is just a matter of getting use to the gearing change? But what a difference in the tight stuff!! So much better im not even considering changing it back. It did seem like it took away some engine breaking though.
Only managed to fall once, but the bike was on top of me so it was a good one. How does a right side exhaust manage to melt your left arm? Great time

    Re: Dirty trails 12/5

Chip, thanks for riding over today and it was nice to meet you. Glad you enjoyed the ride, that's a lot of bike for those trails

I only ended up with 15 miles, I was pretty tired after that..haha The rock garden in the new single track section claimed some bikes today! I know I was upside down in that section once and seems Tom had a mishap there towards the end of the day? haha The rest of the falls don't count because knowone saw them.

Just looking at the long range forcast...cold and white for next weekend. Lets see what happens

I went down another tooth in the front. I think it is just a matter of getting use to it. I need to stay in second more and just rely on the torque down low

Ahh yes, it was the arm pump

Let me check on Saturday, I thought I had something planned but maybe that's the following weekend?

I checked mine as well and it had a 13 up front and not a 14 like I thought it had. I had a 12 from my YZ and put it on, not sure what to expect from that.

Ok, but only if you don't tell anyone

Sunday looks to be a washout at this point, do you want to plan for Saturday?
