I'm going the other direction. I think a car tire balancer would be a pretty good investment.

Err...I'm not sure if you have ever used or seen a tire balancing machine...or just suck at space management...or both.

Good bump. JayCee has a set of wheels from a 450X I believe I'm going to get from him. If he ever comes back from Puerto Rico. Sheesh, he's only been gone a few days and I already miss him.

I can't figure out their configurator thing. Advertises $370 wheel set, but I can't get that pricing for any combo.
    Must be some obscure fitment..

Price on the combos that do fit my WR are perfectly reasonable. Everyone here should be stocking up on ice wheels.

Must be for minibikes or something? I get 540ish for KTM wheels.

    That's still pretty darn reasonable.

    Re: Dirty Wheels

Big thing that drives up the price of the Tusk wheels when all is said and done is the cost of the smaller parts that will make the wheels a quick swap.

    Front rotor - $124
    Rear rotor - $120
Front and Rear Brake Pads - $31 ea (don't necessarily need these but with new rotors I figured not a bad idea)
Rotor hardware front and rear - $5
    Sprocket - $90
    Sprocket hardware - $10
Rim strips front and rear - $6.75 ea Motion Pro Rim Strips
Bead locks front and rear - $28 combined Motion Pro Bead Locks
Tubes front and rear - $34 ea
Tires front and rear - $175

Total $695.50 on top of the $550 for the wheels for a grand total of $1245.50 for the wheels when all was said and done.

These things add cost to whatever wheel set you buy though so the Tusk wheels do wind up still being a pretty good deal when all is said and done comparably

    Re: Dirty Wheels

Warp 9's will run you $800 complete with rotors, sprocket, etc, MSRP. DNA should be similar, and no one pays MSRP...

    Re: Dirty Wheels

Are they Warp 9 or DNA specific rotors and sprockets? One thing I like about my Tusks is they use the same parts as my factory wheels do/did so no issues finding rotors/sprockets down the road.

Take the tires/tubes/brake pads out of my pricing and not too far off the prices you mention. There are also cheaper options on the rotors that would bring them right in line.

    Re: Dirty Wheels

I have a set of 21/19 wheels off my 2007 CRF 250 complete I'll make a deal for. The front came off a CRF250x but they have a spacer made to take place of the speedo and the rear was new when I bought the bike. They are complete with rotors and a sprocket. I last used them for ice riding. Sold the bike a few years ago.
