Thinking about getting a dual sport to get to work in the winter and know nothing about them. Any advice?

Well I am moving and will be 3 Miles from my new job. there are some dirt roads that I can take etc and the Highway is right there as well just have to go up one exit. I kinda like the KLR650, and was looking at the Super Duke 990 but that wont be out until Feb. 2007.

Go buy a CRF450X and put a break light on it and ride whillys all the way to work.

The KLR is a great bike nef. Oh and comfy too. That seat is like a couch.
