As they said, it depends what you want to do with it.
Mine is geared right in the middle, to be workable in the super slow stuff, and comfortably cruise at 45 to get from place to place.
It's a pretty smooth mill. The only thing I sometimes long for is a little more torque at the very bottom. That could be a pipe or a tune away, I don't know. I haven't missed it enough to start throwing money at the motor, I have a long way to go before that's the thing that's holding me back.

Noob dirt rider here but the 350 is awesome! Just rode some Hopkington Everett trails yesterday after I left the dealership with the bike. Great time and such nice people up there. Makes me want to move to NH.
