What would it take to register my DR650 in MA? Or is it good to go because it's street legal?

You still need to off-road register it to ride in the forests. Take the title and your current registration, as proof of taxes paid to the ORV office in Fall River. You can do it all there.

I guess another question I should ask is when do MA off-road registrations expire? Similar situation to NH and ME, or is it just X months from when you register?

Yeah, that's what their site says. Same with Maine. You say it with some cynicism; bad experience?

Re: Any eastern mass trails open now?

NH has a 14 month OHRV registration that should be available but it is only available the first time a person registers a particular vehicle in NH under their name.

Registration Information & Fees | OHRV & Snowmobile Digest of Regulations | eRegulations.com has a list of the registration fees at the bottom of the page that shows what I am talking about with the 14 month.

There aren't many places that will be open up there until May 23rd though.

It does suck that riding season starts in May but the stickers expire end of June. If you have a bike that you at one time registered in NH it'll cost you the same to register it from May through June as it would for the whole year if you wait until July 1.

I haven't seen any dealers that do OHRV registration willing to sell a 12 month registration before July 1. They may have the stickers but they usually won't sell them.

Edit: Just looked and the stickers available on May 1st are the 14 month stickers I was talking about that are only available on initial registration.
