Close your eyes, look deep in your soul, step outside yourself and let your mind go.
f all of you with functional dirt bikes...f youuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu
I would love to , but I need to do a few laps on my own tomorrow , the skunk cabbage and ferns are starting to over grow the trails and they need to be beat down .
maybe next time .

I was gonna say... kickstand? Dirtbike? Wha?
I like to think of it as "drop triangle"... rather than "kickstand up".
Or... "un-lean from tree" in most cases. Haha.

Kickstand = Endurobike
Triangle stand = XC or MX bike
My trails = Enduro![]()

We are going to have a dirt bike mecca.
Mothers day...pftt, lets ride![]()

I couldnt resist. Made me want to start clearing some spots for trails.
Bob came walking over yelling private property......until he realized it was me. Gave full permision to use his trails also, "go out there and tear it up"
Dont know my mothers day plans, but a dirt ride sounds perfect.
I almost forgot how much fucking fun it is!!![]()
sounds like you guys had a blast!
so your properties are adjacent to one another?
We need to clear around that rock jump you have! I could be into blasting in some trails, let me know
I guess having a watchdog like Bob is a good thing...actually, all the neighbors are similar..haha
They are close, there's 3 lots separating us but we can connect trails without using the road. The neighbors to the right and left of me both ride as well

How did Franklin look compared to last year? I anticipate having to re-learn that terrain if it's anymore ripped to the bone
Making breakfast for mom in the morning, then it's dirty time! Late start, stands up by 1pm![]()

Wow, that 15 miles kicked my ass today...even put the bike away dirty![]()

Yup, Im sore. That was a lot of fun, the trails are really starting to get some nice lines burned in. And the new single track loop is a hell of a challenge, but a ton of fun. Couple pretty funny falls
I want to start laying out a loop on my land to see what I would have to clear out brush wise. Not even sure where to start. Want to find a way to keep the speeds down as it looks like it will be pretty wide open. Any opinions?
They'll be a work in progress, trust me! Could spend a day with a chainsaw cutting trees on mine as well to straighten things out a bit..I'm, sick of hitting my head on trees in the corners..haha
As I'm sure you've figured out, the perspective you get while cutting the trails, is waaaaaay different once you add 2 wheels and speed to the mix.
I did another lap on the single track section when everyone left (forgot to add that to my milage for the day) , it's burning in nice! You know, I have yet to ride that section in reverse direction? Yep, couple funny falsl for all of us..but if you're not falling, you're not trying hard enough...and if you fall to much, you suck!
You have a nice sized wooded section where your house is going, so that could be your slow section...as for the rest, MX track
Pick up some survey ribbon and and we can lay out some trails to get started, then cut the as the free time comes

Ankle hurts this morning.
Still amazed that no one shows up to these rides![]()
Most of the rides here are planned the day before, simply because there's not much planning needed on my end and yard chores will decide if I ride or not this time of year.
Let me know a weekend that works for you and i'll make it happen
I also have to limit it to 5 or 6 reasonably quiet bikes
