Okay so picked this bad bitch up Friday after waiting almost 2.5 months to get it as the Bro Deal is the Slow Deal.... that's all good though. Got a killer price on a 2013 KTM 250SX! The meanest, baddest, coolest production 250 2st mx'er made! I decided on the KTM over the YZ250 after doing lots of reading up on both bikes and while the YZ250 is a great machine it basically came down to the fact it hasn't been updated much since 2006... and I want this bike to last me 4-5 years minimum. KTM has been continuing to update the 250SX even making solid changes from the 2012 to 2013 model. It has incredible Brembo brakes, hydraulic clutch, machined triples, 5-6 HP more than the YZ, etc. Main weak point is the forks aren't as good out of the box, but hey I'll get those worked on anyway.
Got to take it for it's maiden voyage Sunday at Pala and once I knocked some of the rust off I got going okay on it. Still doesn't feel like 'my' bike yet but I'm learning it and expect after a few more rides, and dialing it in... we'll be getting along just fine..
