    Flywheel Weight vs Weighted Flywheel

Any preference? Both get the job done, one's a bit cheaper.

Add-on weight vs new heavier flywheel.

Probably just the concern of a weight coming loose, but it's never been an issue for me. I like that I can remove my weight if I don't want it for something (not that I ever have).

    So you're saying they're different!

Hey, Meg and I are headed down to Maryland shoreline in a few days - email me any recs. Going to hang with the wild horses, hoping to bring a dirty ride.

i've never had an issue with bolt-ons either but if you think it's going to be a permanent mod and it's the weight you want ... just replace the whole flywheel

(reminds me i need to sell the FW i have left in storage from the WR)

Aaah, fun trip. We have gone as far as Assateague Island for the ponies. It was gorgeous, and empty this time of year. I think you can find horses around Fort McHenry or some other spots too, but I haven't been.

Van campsites right on the dunes are pretty epic. We had cold windy days there over thanksgiving last year, so be prepared for that. Otherwise, I highly recommend this trip.

For some reason reading this and thinking about the other things that can be referred to as bolt-ons (breast augmentation) made me chuckle says the single guy in the corner reading the thread

If you're going to Maryland with dirt bikes, you need to check out Budd's Creek for a day. Contact John through the website, I'm sure he'll accommodate you guys if you're coming from such a distance. the place is seriously massive and very humbling.
