    Folding Levers

Finally got a modern dirt bike, 17 KX250f. I have folding levers on the old bike, and they seem handy, are they worth getting for the new one? Ill be doing 75% mx, 25% trails. Probably not going to run bark busters.

    Re: Folding Levers

For MX and no bark busters, I don't think you need folding levers. For trails and no bark busters, I think you do need folding levers.

I have ASV levers on the KTM with big, buck-off bark busters and they're very nice. For the Honda, I run cheap plastic hand guards and stock levers. I do carry a spare set of OEM Honda levers in my toolbox, they're only $10 or so each for genuine parts.

KTM is 100% woods/trails and Honda is 100% MX.
