    Fukin' turkeys

Some clips from a trailride yesterday just outside Augusta, ME. It was very greasy on the trails, lots of leaves to cover the roots and rocks in places...

Came across our 2nd batch of wild turkeys at around 2:45 in the video, crazy fuckers flew right up the trail in front of me. Close enough to hear their wings beating!

    Pretty cool.
I love how that 1 Turkey leads you down the road up the hill like he's showing you the way.

    turkeys?

for me to see any kind of wildlife is a rare occurrence...I would have been excited to see them initially, but then laughing in my helmet the rest of the time, watching them flap all over the place to get away

    otherwise, great video

the trails look good, I like hearing the throttle blip to see when you're on the gas, and the gravel pit looks like high speed hooliganism

This was this weekend? Things look aweful green for that area this time of year. Was just north of your area riding last weekend, some fun trails up there for sure

Don't know if I agree with that. Not having a death grip on the bars=less arm pump, the hand movements using the clutch and front brake keeps the blood flowing, which = less cramping/armpump...for me anyways

    Re: Fukin' turkeys

Yeah it was yesterday, big difference between here and Abbott for leaves I guess (my folks have a seasonal site at the campground there but I have only done those trails on wheelers). The leaves that are on the ground are treacherous in places!

I hear ya on the clutchless shifts, I use that lever more than I should sometimes.

Hoping to get another ride or two in before it's all over this year. Was trying to sell this bike, but this last ride has got me re-evaluating...maybe some motard wheels are a better idea.
