If that's the day I'm thinking of, it was cold as F%^K that day. Probably the most fun I ever had on the craptor though.

I did some Ice racing in Maine a few years ago (cars). We ran a 91 accord in the 4 hour enduros.

One day, I got there early and took my STI out on the track. Did pretty poorly on bare ice as my snow are past the sipes and more like all seasons at this point. Down the huge front stretch I hit about 90.

When I hit the brakes, my ABS basically said "NOPE LOL" Turns out 90 on clear ice doesnt work well with ABS.

I was able to toss it sideways a little and get my rear tires into the snow on the side of the track and slow me down, and by 60 my brakes came back. Scared the shit out of me. I thought I was gonna shoot through the snowbank at the end of the track. Doubt it would have cause a TON of damage, but it surely would have mangled my front bumper.

    I promptly parked it.

    edit:

    Our high end race machine

    start of the straight

someone elses tires from the studded class, we didnt do this as we gutted the interior, you have to have full interior for studded class.

I haven't looked into it yet but I'm not sure with the exhaust where it is if a trailer hitch set up is even possible. I've been contemplating picking up a truck again though so ya never know. It sux 'cause right after the shennanigans that wknd I went out and bought new wheels mounted with the Kenda Cutter Xc's that Jay runs. Never even studded them up but they were amazing tires! Like night and day from the oem junk. You still have the 450?

A truck would be better easier IMHO.
Did you sell the tires with the Raptor, or keep them? The OEM suck in most cases, mostly because they are kinda small and make the ground clearance suck.
I traded the 450 last summer for an R6, so it's gone. I still have the 06 Raptor 700 though, and still have my ice set-up, just bolt them on and go!
