Thanks to a tech tip I read on bluetraxx.com, I found these 2 lose bolts on my YFZ today, I guess it happens to all the 2006 YFZ's
There was a cluster of gears i had to take out to get to them, notice the 2 allen heads backed halfway out?![]()

You would think there would be a factory bulliten or something.

The message on the forum said the bolts were never tightened from the factory.
They actually couldn't back out any farther, there's a one way starter gear that goes in there so there's no room

maybe they ran out of loctite, it is a Yam ya know...they just kinda throw those things together with whatever is around since they're just gonna blow up anyways. You see that one at that big gp race a few weeks ago![]()
