ive got tires all "screwed" already. just the gold screws. it might be a few weeks until im on the bike now that ive got the whole separated shoulder thing going on, but im determined to get out there.

I just went out to the lake and there is a good 3 inches of snow then ice. We're gonna need a plow guy to make and keep a track clear.

I'll be on one of 'our' two lakes. The surfaces are pretty much shit now cuzza all the snowmobilers. But between the two lakes, we have almost 600 acres of wide fuckin' open surface to ride on. I've got my 4x4 quad up to an indicated 50+ on our lake and my buddy's sled to an indicated 95, so there's plenty of 'leg room'. There's little to no chance that a motorcycle is gonna make it up my backyard from the lake - no matter what you've got in your tires...

On the Raptor, no. On the 4x4 with extra-lug Mud Lites, 4-low and the front diff locked, barely. There's some sleds that won't make it up. There's absolutely no leg room before the hill - sharp turn, shoot between some small trees and give 'er hell. Get on the gas too soon, you'll loop it. Not soon enough, you won't make it. The only 2-wheeler that'll make it up is one you can pick up & carry...

Plowin' ain't much of an option. The snow cover is so fuggin' hard right now, can't get enough down force with a quad plow to do a damn. We just get down to the lakes and just tear around aimlessly. I'll take that handjob though...
