Yeah, the intent was to rent bikes from those same guys, but not do a guided trip. But Kerry broke her wrist at bootcamp, So we rented a car. We visited quite a bit with our friends from last year though, and were able to ride as guests a few different times during our week. Braaaap!
Love that he didn't even bother taking the mirrors off. Style points.

The one I have for sale on here was great in the event I did. It was up a ski slope and was mostly single track. I left the mirrors on too. Other rides loved it...... as they passed me lol

Those trails look like they would be fun to rip on.
Good dude stopping for the guy on the Kawi that got stuck between the trees.
That looks like a fun track.
I need to try some of that out.

All of them??
I don’t hare scramble so I can’t really recommend one course as more fun than the next. I’ll ask, and certainly have an answer later.
If you have a plate, both the Maine and Ri races are pretty noob friendly without too many stoppers.
Also: don’t forget boobs big adventure weekend. I finally rode the dirt bike loop last year, and it was super fun. Clinton’s twin brother had one spot “the gut” where dudes got hung up, we all helped each other out and laughed heartily at one another.

i'm liking where this thread is going ... i had noted Satan's Kingdom, Wood Chopper and Rock Crusher on the calendar for this season. the Rock Crusher in Weare could be kinda central for a bunch of us.
i got a gut and love Boobs, what's that adventure thing about?

Place called Field & Forest Recreation Area. Harrisville, NH. Guy runs an 'ADV' weekend that has been a mixed bag of big bike easy, mid-bike mid, and little bike hard runs starting at his campground. I made it a couple years back with the Chipster for what I think was the inaugural run. I rode in/out on the DRZ and did the mid-bike mid run. Mostly class 6 unmaintained roads. Plate required. Chip and his crowd were onboard big ADV'ers; he still had the 990. I borrowed it for about 1000' feet and managed to nestle it ever so gently onto its side. We blame him. He should know better.
Word has it his little bike hard course has some fun.
"Boob" is a play on "Bob", the cats name. Chip and him are knowing of each other. I do not personally use that nickname.
He advertises it on ADV-Rider and the faceybook.
I directed my poser BMW GS riding work associate there last year. I think he had fun but found the big bike easy his speed; mostly back roads with some well graded dirt, I think. He's a street guy, so.
I'm thinking of sitting out the SM race season this year and picking up some other events to compensate. Maybe that ADV weekend, the classic and then one of those Hare scrambles for the LOLz and mayhem. Maybe.
There’s a dude JP that’s a loc-dog in Harrisville that leads the dirtybike ride, that’s your doppelgänger, Clinton.
Boob got dubbed when he mounted some tire on the back of his te610 many moons ago that spelled it across the tread.
Lemme see if I can dig that up.

I did not know that angle. That is fantastic.
My closest experience with the guy was when he was leading the ride that year on a KTM 640. I was on my DRZ400. We got to the bottom of a thing and were waiting on a couple KLRs I think. He turned to me, looked at my front tire. Looked at me. At the tire. At me. "Dude, you know you have your front tire on backwards, right?!" He was right. It was mounted backwards.![]()
