    Head Lights

Any one have any opinion on them. I am about to take the plung$$$
I am considering the Trail tech stator and the twin headlights or the one super bright one. I am leaning towards the twins because one is spot and one flood, You can plug them into the bike and have a battery as back up.
I am also considering a Cyplops.
I alsop thought I would start a new thread because i hate to see the site dry up in the winter.

My Baja Design setup is all A's IMHO. My SM setup is below with BD DS kit.

Though I have wanted the 8" Baja light

HID, Fuego, SolteK, Diablo, Off Road Lights, Dual Sport Kit, ATV, 4x4, Motorcycle, Light Bar, Aftermarket

since I saw it on this nasty XR (scroll to the real shiny XR).

Helmet lights are more effective... If you're in the trails, headlights are pointing everywhere but where you want to see!

That is such a great point!

I wonder if they will ever come out with "adaptive" headlights such as those found in Lexus etc. for motorcycles. It makes so much sense.

Paul, That's what i am going to get. Here's a tid bit for everyone with a wimpy stock headlight.
    PMXTEC Home

I just got the bulb and adaptor for my KTM and it is unbelivable. The bulb and adaptor was critiqued in KTM talk by a guy that has the Baja Design HID light and he could not tell which one was brighter.. The bulb was only 50.00 and comes with a plastic widget to adapt your stock headlight to hold the bulb, easy to follow instructions with PICTURES for dopes like me, a longer bolt and spacers to increase the beams pattern more effectively.

I installed it yesterday and it rocks, so bright.
I am looking for infoe on helmet lights if anyone has any experience with them.
    Thanks,
    OT

Heres the skinny on the new bulb kit i got.
KTMTalk Home Page -> PMXTEC headlight kit.

Belive it, bright cheap, durable light for the stock headlight.

Now I still have to get the stator kit and a blinding helmet light and I will never have to sleep again!

It was done as a captsone design project by a group at northeastern a couple years ago. i don't know if they're marketing it or not but they did a fancy pants job. I wonder if i can get a copy of the report...

It's all water under the bridge, and we do enter the next round-robin. Am I wrong?
