mysteriousR1/kb1: which gear were you in and what made you guys stop near the top? you were almost there! I ran into it in 2nd gear, right in the meat of the power band, tried my best to stay on the pegs, drive with the rear wheel and float the front wheel as much as possible.

where did you get your power band, I have been wanting to get one for my bike, and if not on a hill, should I be driving with the front and letting the rear float or should I be driving with the rear all the time?

not enough information...but if you're def. interested in a bike, fasteddie has a YZ125 that's been pretty well maintained

Yeah, the guy had no info on the thing (rebuild, etc.) and I'm not in the market. I could snag the number if you're interested. Going with one with a known history is always better though

Ahh, what a day. I'm feeling it a little today though, in a good way

Nice write up and picture story Sean. The vids also add to it...haha
Was good to see and ride with the usual crew as always and good to meet the others, Matt, Bahvesh, Eddie, etc.
Ended up with about 22 miles for the day and only hit the ground 4 or 5 times..haha
And another 65 miles on the R1 that afternoon, went home, showered, got on the R1 and went back to Sean and Leahs to drink beer all night

Jay, did you get a street plate for your bike yet? Pachaug, Ct is a must and I'm sure we will be going there quite often again soon...it just requires a street registered bike.

It was good riding with you guys. I nearly fell off my bike laughing when when Mark and Matt missed the left turn half way up a climb and they just gassed it straight up the rock face and kept going... for a little while.

Now we just need to get Kurlon's vintage ride out on the trail.
If the dog gets James trained well enough, we could get him out there too.

actually that was me, I parked it on its side top of the rock, todd followed in behind me , and fell back into a tree with his bike on top.
no major injuries just a bruise behind my knee , so all was well .
