    hodges (oxford) ride 3-10

I got a couple hours of spring break riding in with a couple guys from www.masstrailrider.com, and boy did it feel great to get back out there!

the weather was perfect, the new trails are tricky (= my favorite), I only had one minor hiccup on the trail (fell into a 'V' between two rocks, fell over the bars, and broke my peg mount), and the whole time I had an ear-to-ear grin melted onto my face

since I got there late, I didn't spend a whole lot time taking pics

these are the guys that showed me around...real nice riders!

Where's the riding, is it legal, what's the terrain and what do you need for registration.

Exit 4 off I-395 in south central Mass.
    Yes, it's legal.
Mass ATV plate (yellow plate) or any street plate is required.
Typical New England trails...roots, rocks, some dirt, some sand

Mark got most of it, so the only things I'd add are: from what I rode today (only ~25% of what there is), I saw 2 types of terrain: rocky, but wide open easy stuff (like what you posted from Clough), and intermediate, tight, gnarly-suspension-popping rocks on hills that require clutching/braking/coasting/& blipping the throttle to get over

the address I use to get there is 3 Clara Barton Road, Oxford, MA

I was out with the park ranger today, and here are some of the newer trails they're cutting that haven't been burned in yet:

http://www.youtube.com/user/masstrailrider (in the first few minutes you see me throw in a cheap plug for the NESR dirty bastards )

when it is mud season, the ranger recommends that we stay off of the lower trails until things dry up, but in the mean time the upper (and more challenging trails) are relatively dry and available to ride now

    it's a federal property, so it's open year-round
